Our academy brings a personal touch and passion-driven approach to music and arts learning. Our goal is to bring more color and expression to all of our students as well as inspire the next generation of great performers and singers. We also welcome the hobbyists who share our great love for music and would like to bring what they hear in their head alive through their instrument. Our doors are open to individuals of all ages. Whether you are a parent of a toddler or elementary through highschool student, a homeschooler, a college student, working professional or a retiree, Baton Rouge Music Academy has got your best interests at heart.
We acknowledge our city’s strong music heritage. Many nationally famous musicians, composers, and record producers trace their roots to this part of Louisiana. Due to our accessible location within the city, many of our students come from the areas of Anchorage, West River Oaks, Inniswold, Old Jefferson, Westminster, Denham Springs, Shenandoah, South Baton Rouge, St. Gabriel, Prairieville, and surrounding Baton Rouge areas. A few students come from farther away areas such as Central, Zachary, Port Allen, and Brusly to receive the excellent music lessons experience Baton Rouge Music Academy offers.

Meet Our Music Director
Micah Lipsmeyer has been a performing musician since 2008 with well over a thousand live performances under his belt and well over 10,000 hours teaching and training others. As an early guitar player, he will never forget that there was nothing more satisfying than hearing actual songs being played, music being made, and for the first time in his life being the one creating that music. He’s always had a deep interest in helping others reach that same feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. “Every instructor here is extensively trained and qualified with the same desire I have of spreading the joy of music to everyone who steps foot in our studio.”

Private Lessons Starting At
$120/month
We offer private lesson lengths of 30, 45, and 60 minutes.
Lessons are set up on a month to month basis to reserve each students time in advance.
Lessons slots available Monday-Saturday.
A one-time $30 registration fee is required to help pay for office staff and supplies.
Unlimited Small Group Classes
$200/month
The only place that offers unlimited music classes.
We offer classes for multiple skill levels a minimum of 5 days a week, so you can grow as much as you want-as fast as you want.
Other options as low as $120 per month available as well.
Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced classes.
